Benchmark Your Situation and Source Best Practice
Choose from independent assessment and self assessment. Then benchmark your college against the FE MaXimizE framework to:
- Identify strengths and weaknesses
- Establish a relevant marketing context to your findings
You can benchmark your current situation against the neutral framework of MaXimizE or against other colleges*. From here, use the FE MaXimizE as a diagnostic tool to inform your thinking – and actions.
And once you know the areas for development you can “fast-track” to solutions by taking good practice from across the sector and trading ideas with non-competitive colleges.
* The results of your assessment can be benchmarked against the results from other education providers on an anonymous basis - The database is managed by The Knowledge Partnership and with permission they can put you in touch with contacts at institutions that have good practice in place in areas that you may wish to develop.
Independent Assessment
Commission The Knowledge Partnership to lead an assessment of your college:
- Involves a review of plans, strategies and policies, interviews with a structured sample of managers and front line staff and external benchmarking
- Would usually incorporate a self-assessment too, so that a judgement can be made as to how well the college knows itself.
The assessment team includes a number of regionally-based, highly experienced marketing and consultancy professionals. The structure of the team ensures we can provide the right expertise to meet your needs in a flexible and timely manner.
Self-Assessments
Involve a selected sample of staff in completing an online evaluation instrument:
- Results are then evaluated and benchmarked to create a basis for prioritising development
- Optional additional support can be provided to evaluate current practice in priority areas and create action plans.
- Can be used on a period basis to chart progress to world class status
