The Knowledge Partnership comprises a small, friendly team of professionals spread across two offices in the UK in Leeds and Cambridge supported by a network of offices around the world in Canada, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia.
We are currently recruiting for two vacancies:
Responsibilities include assisting with events, production of marketing materials database/mailing list management, website management and administration for a higher education consultancy.
Salary: from £21,000 - £24,000
Hours of Work: 37.5 hrs per week (option for flexible hours)
Holidays: 20 days per year plus 8 bank holidays
Reporting to our Events Manager, you will be working with staff both in the small Cambridge team and other offices.
Duties will include providing support for events such as conferences, training academies and seminars, for The Knowledge Partnership and our World 100 Reputation Network. (www.theworld100.com).
You will also be responsible for maintaining our company contacts database.
You will also assist with the creation and distribution of marketing materials for email, digital channels and print, as well as keeping the World 100 website up to date.
- Assist with marketing and running events
- Create and distribute company marketing materials (online and print)
- Update and maintain World 100 Network website
- Manage and maintain our company database
- Office administration/assisting company director
- As a minimum, A-levels/BTEC Diploma and experience
- Desirable - Degree
- Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Good copywriting
- Excellent organisational skills
- Event management and marketing experience
- Knowledge of or experience in the Higher Education sector
- Experience of database/mailing list management
- Experience of WordPress
- Eye for good design
- Digital and social media marketing skills
There will be a six month probationary period (company-wide policy).

We are a niche consultancy specialising in marketing, communication and strategy development for the university sector. Our Leeds office comprises a team of graduate researchers supported by a management team of experienced consultants, based in a unique city centre location.
The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent attention to detail, be confident and numerate. You will possess first-class persuasive communication skills, including written and spoken English.
You should be happy to work as part of a team, but be able to take responsibility for time managing your own work, and being responsible for its accuracy. You should have a strong interest in a commercial career in market research and data analysis plus an interest in the business of higher education.
You will be expected to develop your role and increase your knowledge of market research and analysis so you can manage client projects directly and present the results of your work in face-to-face client meetings.
We offer a two-year training programme for all our new graduates which includes both mentoring by experienced team members and external training support.
The role will involve but is not limited to:
- Delivering the research components of large consultancy projects
- Working closely with universities to help produce customised reports
- Presentations of data analysis relating to student/graduate trends
- Online market research survey design and analysis
- Interrogation of university websites to extract key information
