We think reputation is the most important asset to a school. Yet so few schools formally manage, evaluate, or plan systematically for a desired reputation. Locally and globally, it is essential that schools know where they sit in a competitive market!

We have been working for almost 20 years with schools to optimise their brand through reputation development, by providing formal benchmarking and analysis. Our sector expertise and experience allows us to then follow through with the implementation of reputational action and change processes.

Research Tools to Measure and Track Reputation

We have produced considerable original research on reputation. We have also developed robust research based tool for schools. The Reputation Assessor, is one example and incorporates an online methodology to assess perceptions of:

  1. Positioning (what the institution stands for)
  2. Performance (proof)
  3. Differences (visual, behavioural, services) between the institution and others
  4. Demand trends (how popular the institution appears to be)
  5. Relations with media and community
  6. Quality of student (graduate)
  7. Affinity and recommendation toward the institution– who, what?
  8. Focus placed on staff to become reputation ‘advocates’.
