Strategy & Marketing Planning
An Integrated Approach
We regard strategic planning and marketing planning in schools as critically interdependent and are often engaged to undertake both as an integrated process. We do NOT see strategic and marketing plans as “compliance” activity. Schools need to develop more purposeful, evidence-based plans not ‘me too’ plans.
Through our sector specific experience spanning two decades in this area, we have developed for our clients a comprehensive, cost effective and integrated step by step process to develop a strategic plan and then a marketing plan for domestic and international markets.
The Knowledge Partnership’s international reach also allows us to offer comparative insights into a variety of different schools across the world.
Features
What are the features of our approach to strategic planning and marketing planning for schools?
- We guide the move from compliance to a market or evidence based model of planning.
- We facilitate development of strategic and market-related objectives, performance indicators, mission, vision and the articulation of values, etc, and in supporting what we call a “relative SWOT analysis” to identify critical strengths and critical weaknesses in a competitive context.
- We advise on specific market data that needs to be brought to bear on the planning process, and then used to monitor progress. We can also support the initial collection and analysis of such market data.
- We train staff so that you build internal capacity in strategy and market planning, execution and evaluation processes.
- We support the internal communication and dissemination of the strategy to staff, students, parents, alumni and others who will support its implementation.
