Each year The Knowledge Partnership organises 2-3 day long 'away days' for all of its staff. Previous years have included Glasgow and Amsterdam, and this year we headed to one of the UK's favourite student cities: Newcastle.
We learnt a lot about this diverse and vibrant city and its universities - we split into teams and visited Newcastle and Northumbria, as well outside of the city, exploring Durham and Sunderland.
Outside of our HE learnings, we also learnt who is adept at building towers made from marshmallows and spaghetti... to who owns a terrible fridge magnet collection during Through the Keyhole... to who is a steel drum musician in the making (and who probably shouldn't give up their day job!).
It's safe to say we're already looking forward to next year's away days!
