Business Philosophy

Business Philosophy

We want The Knowledge Partnership to be seen by its staff as a stimulating, challenging and open place to work and by clients as the leading strategic marketing practice in the education sector; the consultancy they trust with their most important projects.

We firmly believe one leads to the other.

If our staff are emotionally engaged in the business this underpins the provision of excellent service and makes their working life more enjoyable. We support their development through formal professional training and encourage them to devise and publish original ground breaking research. An authentic education marketing consultancy is one that creates new knowledge, models and methods fit for purpose rather recycling tired old theories that have no applicability to our sector.

Our vision is to be one step ahead – anticipating challenges our clients are yet to face. We achieve this by being focussed on the education sectors, understanding both the evolving policy context and being engaged with the student and employer markets.

The Knowledge Partnership prides itself on delivering robust, evidenced advice that can be implemented by clients to achieve successful outcomes. However, we critically challenge our clients. We take risks, even to the point of challenging the initial brief if we think the focus is not right or the suggested process is not optimal.

Partnership is part of our philosophy as we have seen the benefits of co-creation and collaboration. For example, we work with groups of clients to design exciting exploratory projects that break new ground in fields such as university-parent engagement, new course development and the recruitment of world leading academics.

We work across the professional-academic boundaries, publishing academic papers with professors of education marketing. We are active members of the Academy of Marketing.

We hope you find us to be insightful, that working with us is a positive but challenging experience and our recommendations beneficial to the organisation and to the stakeholders you serve.
