Universities
The Knowledge Partnership’s work for universities typically involves critical independent analysis of their practices and the market environment in which they operate to develop recommendations for change and strategies for achieving improved performance.
Our clients include the vice chancellor and his or her senior leadership team with commissions including the reviewing the organisation’s market orientation and internal communications processes through to reputation and brand audits. Our new services in the fields of internationalisation and employer engagement also appeal to the senior teams as they strive to generate income from more flexible sources, and prosecute plans to increase their international footprint and underpin employability propositions.
We work with directors of marketing and communications to evaluate their activities, to support brand positioning and assess image and reputation with key stakeholders and opinionformers. This includes monitoring online media coverage, assessment of events, websites and prospectuses, as well as building strategies for internal and external communications.
Our course development and portfolio management work leads us to engagement with market research managers and deans of faculty. Product and Price are areas where a more market led approach is being taken by universities of all types and character.
Clients include universities from all UK mission groups, and international universities from Asia, Australasia and Europe. We also work with sector organisations such as The Leadership Foundation, HEA, the British Academy, HEFCE, and international bodies including the European Commission.
