World Top 100 Communications Network
Managing Reputation, Maintaining Excellence:
Global reputation conference London 2009
We are proposing to hold an international conference on global reputation for the world leading universities, in 2009. The conference will be a compelling opportunity to hear about reputation and global positioning from some of the top universities around the world, with optional site visits to the communications departments of the partner universities in the research consortia.
The location
The UK is host to 16 of the world’s top 100 universities as measured by the Shanghai Jiao Tong World Academic Ranking and the Times Higher World League Table, and London is one of the most enticing capitals in the world.
Research feedback on the World Top 100
The event will also present some of the top level research findings of our World Top 100 Communications Network project which is being undertaken by The Knowledge Partnership supported by Imperial College, University of Warwick, University College London, and King’s College London. In this major research project, we are looking at all 140 universities that are classified as Top 100 by either the SJT or the Times Higher World League Table, comparing the websites, communications tactics and strategies of these leading universities. The research findings will be a fascinating insight for those with a senior role in both communications and international relations and will create benchmarks in terms of resources, structures and objectives. It will also identify best practice, new trends, and unique behaviour in the field of communications and international reputation management.
Who’s the conference for?
This conference will be aimed at all those with a significant role to play in the reputation of their universities (rectors, presidents, vice-chancellors, directors of communications and of international relations, marketing and strategy and development directors) and we hope it will be an excellent way of networking internationally for everyone in the field of reputation management. Speakers will be invited from the top 100 universities, as well as experts on reputation management and communication .
If you are in, or striving to be in, the World Top 100, this is the conference for you.
