TKP's Charity of the Year: Mind

2018 was a great year for TKP in terms of fundraising and volunteering, raising an amazing £1,269.29 for Leeds Mencap, as well as hiking the Yorkshire Three Peaks and volunteering for The Real Junk Food Project.
In December, The Knowledge Partnership employees voted on a number of nominated charities they would like to work with going forward, and we are now pleased to announce that our Charity of the Year for 2019 will be Mind. Mind do amazing work in helping to empower people with a mental health problem. They campaign, raise awareness and promote understanding.
Charli Brunning, Corporate Fundraising Officer for Leeds Mind has a few words about the new partnership:
“We are absolutely delighted that The Knowledge Partnership have chosen to support Leeds Mind throughout 2019. It is incredibly important for us to have the support of such fantastic local organisations both in terms of fundraising and raising awareness of the support that is available to the people of Leeds. I cannot wait to get started and planning for what I know will be an exciting year ahead, working alongside The Knowledge Partnership”.
The ‘Charity of the Year’ partnership is a new initiative for TKP, and we hope this will really help to streamline our fundraising and volunteering events throughout the year, as well as raising awareness for mental health and wellbeing. Amy Ross, our new CSR Coordinator, is really looking forward to getting started.
